I’m also 21 and I started at a university away from home at 18 then life happened and depression got in the way so I’m starting from scratch while watching all my peers graduating this upcoming spring while only being on my second year was upsetting but i realized life is literally what you make it and im going at my own pace, no one else’s. Omg I’m so glad I came across this video. I’m 21 and entering my second year of college. I’ve felt so ashamed and like I was behind and just trying to remind myself that I needed the time in between to grow and learn. But I still often feel left out that I’m a bit behind my peers, this really helped me feel like I’m not alone and that it’s okay to start whenever we’re ready.❤️

Everyone does life at their own pace. I graduated college at 26. I’m starting my master’s at 28. There’s no rush. I was not ready to do it earlier. In fact, I dropped out of college at 18. I am glad I went through college older. I do not regret my experiences as the oldest person in class. Older=wiser. I don’t know why people hate getting older.
