I know this is show, but people if you have a temp above 103°F GO TO THE DOCTOR At 107° Sam was in hyperpyrexia. More than likely, he would have died. Also you never want to put someone with a fever in an ice bath. Cooling a fever too quickly can make you go into cardiac arrest and kill you. Again, this is just a TV show of course, but in real life DO NOT DO THIS. Go to the doctor! If your fever gets that high or higher your organs can start to cook and eventually you’ll have brain damage.
