The new housing is awesome. I'm currently building a huge jumping puzzle that requires precise gliding between tree tops and leads up to a floating temple I built.

GW2 is like the most engaging and new player friendly MMO. The best part is that you can just organically engage with other players if you're a solo like me. You go around doing your own thing and occasionally you'll bump into somebody doing the same world task as you. So you both do activities for the task in the same area at the same time and it just works. Not to mention invasions or in progress events that you can just walk into and the game just says "you're doing this now". I have dabbled in several characters but never got very far into the stories. However, one of my favorite moments was when I was streaming GW2 on a brand new character and I ran into the same guy like three times because we were both following the same quest line hopping from town to town. Also, side note, the underwater combat is fucking sick.

Guild Wars 2 is an amazing game. It's literally PERFECT for people who play MMOs very casually. I'm genuinely jealous of people who are super into it, as other MMO systems have infected my brain by saying "If theres no gear treadmill, I don't wanna play." I would suggest GW2 to anyone (Also I need the game to continue running so I can keep playing GW1. Please keep this game alive yall 🙏)

I remember trying to jump back in recently and being overwhelmed with everything. Not from the game exactly, I had a crap ton of stuff filling my inventory to the brim that i couldn't recall all the uses for but didn't want to toss. Lot of stuff from my old guild events, that still go on regularly if my discord is anything to by.

My one issue is storage. I tried playing again a few years back...and somehow I ended up with some much crap and no place to store it right at the beginning of the game. Worse, it was stuff I couldn't sell and needed later in the game. Rather frustrating.

I love gw2 and I always come back to dabble in it, my biggest issue and why I don’t play constantly is just the lack of what I feel is real group combat, no tank or healing or support really, you just go into dungeons and bosses and everyone is just spamming attacks and I get that’s the target of the game and everything that there isn’t a true trinity system but damn I just want a mmo where you go through a dungeon slow and it’s risky like classic wow
