okay so the vault hunters relic is weird... and useless. your legendaries were dropped by pure luck, the hellfire is a dedicated drop from scorch with a 10%, the harold is a dedicated drop from savage lee also at 10%, and loot midgets just have a high chance to drop legendaries. the vault hunters relic has no effect on legendaries, in fact it has no effect on any loot at all besides blues.
"rare loot chance" is referring specifically to the "rare" rarity (blue.) it adds 5% to the calculation for the blue rarity drop. keep in mind this does not mean you will get 5% more blues, the 5% is additive, it means that whatever chance a blue has to come from whatever source, the vault hunter relic adds 5% to that value. as im sure youre assuming now, its dog useless. unless you are farming a dedicated blue drop, and even then the chance increase is so negligible.

I been farming knuckle dragger for a hour and didn't get he's pistol, than my brother joins and we get it first try, I think more players a better chance at loot, or we both had it equipped which gave us a 10 percent chance. 🤔

i think it might be useless but i still use it as a talisman for farming, i got retainer and toothpick in two runs (without queens) and it just feels like things drop more often

If you're doing a blue only challenge run, it's worth keeping around. Otherwise, it's just a novelty item really

Long story short this shit just increases the droprate of rare quality items

So it's basically 20% for better loot with 4 player but it's not worth it I just sell it cause you can't drop it lol

i have only been getting blue rarity and i haven't gotten a legendary in so long
