How to get INFINTE Mission Rewards in BL2 #borderlands

How to farm mission rewards infinite times. Using read only you can get the same reward every single level in UVHM if you'd like which is super useful for gear like the Heartbreaker or the FotFH. You can also get infinite variants of a specific weapon, for instance you could get every element of the Hail or a Kitten with any parts and accessories you'd like. The same can be done on PlayStation via cross save, right before you turn in your mission, upload your character, then turn in your mission, put the item in the stash, then download, and rinse and repeat unril you have what you want

Thats because the Stash (mistitled as safe) runs off of a separate save file, thus unaffected with read-only

for anyone wondering how to do this with out any mods, "the files" is referring to your save files, which is found in documents; mygames; bl2; willowgame; save data in file explorer. And to make it read only, just right click the save file you want to turn read only on, go to it's properties and there is a box that says "read only." another side note, if you ARE doing this, ALWAYS stash it, the safe WILL NOT work because the stash works differently with saves than everything else for the save file you're read onlying, AND everytime you save quit you HAVE to go to "select character" and reselect whatever character you're doing this for.. I know he said it in the video but you really do, idk why, that's something I always forget and think I'm doing something wrong.. Nope, just forgot to reselect lol

You could also make a copy of the save for that character before picking up the mission. Allows you complete the mission and read only farm just the turn in, assuming you care about parts and prefixes.

Theres a really easy way for console(2 controllers(technically 1 because you can swap between account) but you do need 2 accounts )

First you make sure you have both characters loaded in then you have the mission(or item if you want to farm a seraph vendor the same way or torgye honestly) taken on first player(host) then you drop the item to second player(second account) which then you pause save and quit on the second conteoller only then keep the game paused and while its still paused you want to close out of the game(dashboard) then load back in and join as host with the second account as player 2 again then the item will be saved on the second player and the fidst player can still farm the item and when you wnat the items on you main character you just have to drop them back

I managed to “read only” with the peppermint by exiting out the game not save quitting but restarting the whole game.

What i use to do on the reward farm was get away from a savepoint put on invite only, then bring in splitscreen in, then bring them by you or by the turn in quest then turn in, don't like reward have the splitscreen pick it up save quit on player two it kicks them from game then dashboard xbox quit game or psn press the psn button close application, then repeat to find the prefix you want

with getting a slag rubi on console is easy look at the reward dont accept if not slag and just close ur game from the home screen just save before hand

Can do similar with console by connecting to Internet and uploading your character before collecting the reward.

For my console bros/sisters copy youre character (how much you want) and save the main character you want all the rewards on complete the mission and restart the game and repeat until your'e done and put the gun/gear in the stash and if you want delete the character you farmed for. Sorry if i explained really bad

On Nintendo Switch I put my save data on cloud and then pick up the mission if it not a god roll I grab the save data on the cloud repeat it in till I find 1 and give it to my brother Nintendo Switch and then grab my save data on cloud
