This video was something different that I wanted to make and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Tell me, what is the most iconic Nerf gun (to you) and why? Use the hashtag #fft or #food and you might be featured in the next video!

Yeah, I'd agree that the Maverick is the most iconic. I literally have 10 of them. You're practically tripping over them in thrift stores.

What I don’t understand is why nerf didn’t include this in there icon series. How nice it would’ve been to see the maverick back in the shelves

Both that Maverick and the Recon CS-6 were the two things I remember from my childhood!

The most iconic nerf gun for me has to fall on the Nite Finder or the Maverick, everyone I knew had both of those, and there was one kid that got the longshot when it came out, but he got destroyed at range by everyone until he reverted to the Maverick again. We mostly used the off-brand stuff though, I really liked that side-by-side "shotgun" with ejecting shells, and my best friend at the time loved her lever-action blaster. Fun times...

My first gun was a maverick.
I can't remember how old I was but I remember it was my birthday and my dad wan't too happy about me having it.
I couldn't even pull the slide back and thought i broke it when i finally managed to prime it.
Still have it, still works great, minor scratches on the paint but still good enough for me.
I have all of the original darts and are considering framing them.

I'm so sad that I just don't have a nostalgic childhood

I had only ever played with off-brand dart guns, until I scrapped and saved and purchased a Nerf blaster that changed the whole game for me: the Longshot. I have years of memories of playing with that blaster with my cousins and friends. Nerf wars stretching into the early morning hours. Being the envy of my friends. Many, many years later, after I was married, I purchased a couple Mavericks for a Valentine's Day gift for myself and my wife. That too, holds a special place in my heart because of it. All this to say, the Longshot and the Maverick are both the most iconic blasters for me.

My most iconic nerf blaster is probably the Raider Cs-35. When I got mine, I instantly loved it and still do till this day

The Vulcan is the first blaster I recall being heavily modified. Being able to fire in full auto with a 50 round capacity was insanely impressive at the time. For that reason I'd say it's definitely in the top 3.

Maverick shooting suction cup darts was my main through most of my childhood. I got super good at speed loading it.

For me it’s the Nerf N-Strike Barricade RV-10 my first nerf gun my second was the jolt, but what really made me really pay attention to the hobby was the strongarm and disruptor.

Always felt like a badass reloading, and the suction darts were fun

The Maverick was my very first blaster, and I love it so much. I still have it, even, with all its wobbly glory. That blaster is what awoke my love for not only revolvers but Nerf guns too. You might guess how I reacted when the Hammershot was released, haha.
