Do you need the saltwater chlorinator? What does that do? I've just purchased a 12 foot intex pool and was going to just put some pool salt in. It has a paper filter too.

Soooo I have some green pool problems. Not from algae. The first day I ran the pump 24 hrs. Next day I turned salt water system on and water turned greenish. I realized after rereading the manual I put too little salt in. Bought more, put some more in, scrubbed it in to dissolve and went thru pump filter again. 24 hrs. Turned back clear . Turned on the salt water system after and said the salt was high in it. So dumped and renewed a bit. Then turned system on and it's turning green again. What is wrong???? Why is the salt system turning my water green?!?!?! Please help!!

Hi! I have a 15x48 Intex Ultra frame with the same filter and saltwater system as you. The pool looks completely clear but I can't seem to keep my pH, TA and FC levels ideal. I don't see anything in your video about that. How do you know it's safe to swim? Help! Total newbie here. lol My kids are dying to get in but I'm worried if it's safe. I was under the impression that I didn't need to add any other chemicals with a salt water system.

Its better to use a mineral system as the salt system corrodes the metal legs

TIP : use muriatic acid instead of vinigar. takes about 2 minutes and all is done. (20% muriatic acid with 80% water, mixed and put that in the unit)

Hello just got my intex salt water system. I added the salt and ran the pump for 24 hrs I did the salt test strip and it read 2910 My pool needs to be at 3000 do you happen to know how much more salt i should add i dont want to go over board and add to much and the system keeps telling me its low salt. I'm so confused i hope someone can help!!!

My inlet valve not flushed at all with the pool. Anything I can do about it I have a 14x42 o think the size 1.25
