All the comments here are bashing Katy for being "fake". No one can really tell if Katy was being genuine or not, and who knows? maybe she really does like Taylor as a songwriter. She also can hate Taylor if she wants to because she has her own rights and opinions on whether or not she wants to like or dislike someone. There's a difference between being "fake" and being MATURED in the sense of putting away YOUR EGO and PETTINESS in order to be respectful to someone else & what they love. The guy in the video clearly stated that he LOVES Taylor, and Katy really could have been honest about loving Taylor as a good songwriter, so that's why she phrased it so specifically, instead of saying she loves Taylor as a person or in general. She could dislike Taylor as a person, but appreciate her as a songwriter. Nothing 'fake' or 'pretentious' there. She respected that guy and his love for Taylor and she was matured to not be petty. I personally am NOT a fan of Katy, but more people really need to stop being bias, or shooting such harsh shallow comments and think/look into the deeper picture of things.
