A man in an Australian mine lost his hat in the mine just before it had to be closed, that was fifty years ago, so some time afterward the mine was opened for some reason and the mans hat was found but it was now completely turned into stone...the experts would probably say it's fifty million years old.

what sells me is how quickly it was destroyed after it was reported...

I'm in Newcastle and there is a small stone hedge in an open meadow surrounded by woods on all sides just 1/2 a mile from my house.
I found it looking up randinautica locations.
There are 2 circles, one large and one small.
It is definitely archeoastronomy and looks as though it has been there for a very very long time.

If there were a catastrophic event that happen today, leaving just a few people in each country, eventually in time, life would grow back and history would repeat itself. People a million years later would find remnants of our passed civilization and ask the same questions.

I CANNOT believe they would demolish this.

i live in OKc and yes this is a true story and yes we destroyed it to build something instead of saving it for future study by the right people

Legend has it that at the back of isle 13 you can still see remnants from the old tile flooring

No one ever talks about the two huge pyramid mounds that have recently been torn down right outside of OKC. One by Moore on I35 and one next to Tinker air force base. We were always told they were for “target practice”. Impossible.

in the Preflood World, i believe there were enormous constructions made by the highly technological antediluvian peoples who, one might recall, had an army of nephilim giants to help them build such giant things. It one thinks this is amazing, (and it is), the vast preflood ruins waiting to be discovered on the seafloors all over our world simply beggar the imagination

Why the hell does anything ancient found get snatched up by government (inc. the Smithsonian) or destroyed. Why the fear of us learning there have been civilizations before on Earth and will again when ('if') we go the way of the past. Its sad they destroyed the area before a archeologist could investigate.

I remember hearing about this story a long time ago I'm 64 and if I'm remembering correctly several geologists said that it was a natural rock foundation that had some post holes dug into it from an old farm or ranch that was on the spot. Who really knows?

We had something similar in Rockwall, TX. That is how Rockwall got it’s name. People believed it was man made long ago. It was found to be a natural formation.

Many native people's have the same story--we live in a series of "ages". The age ends, and mankind begins again. The ancient floor could be from an earlier age.

This was at the time of the last advanced civilization before the cataclysm...

Why dont you write the references, especially when referring to dating artifacts or stating the composition @Mystery History ?

The history that we have been taught is full of inaccuracies and in a lot of cases when looked at closely don't hold water. But what I can't understand is why do they ( the authorities or the uninformed ) have to rip these sites apart when there is so much to learn from them?

I have found floors to structures that were covered in clay and then baked from early woodland cultures in Oklahoma.

Don't it always seem to go, you don't know what you have till it's gone, they paved paradise and put up a parking lot.
