Here in Vegas we had a viewing party at the Mandalay Bay pool in the water n the beach.. there were hundreds of people there supporting the knights!!! VEGAS STRONG

Here's what happened:
Everyone thought Vegas would do really bad or MAYBE squeak into a wildcard slot to make the playoffs.
They play really well and win the first few games, fans around the NHL said "This is a great story but they are gonna slow down." They didn't. Fleury gets hurt, fans said "Well it was great while it lasted, they are bound to fall down shortly" they didn't.
M. Subban gets hurt, fans said the same thing, they still kept going. The cycle continued until they were on their fifth goalie and they still kept winning hockey games with no sign of fizzling out.
Fleury came back and everyone knew that they would play really well to close out the season, they claim number 1 in the division.
Playoffs roll around and most people are saying "Oh LA are gonna win and Vegas are gonna finally slow down and end this amazing story" they swept the kings. Now most people are saying "Vegas won't beat the sharks they are gonna slow down"
It could happen but to sharks fans: Don't count Vegas out, they will continue to surprise if you do.

I am and always will be a lifelong Leafs fan but this team is quickly climbing the ranks as my favorite American team. It's not even because they're winning so much, it's more so because of how motivated they are and how they go in to every game (including regular season) and play like it's a game 7. Plus I've always loved Fleury ever since he first started in the league. He's easy going and always smiling but he is amazing under pressure

Hate all the bandwagon fans, I’ve been a fan of the Golden Knights since 2003 when I went to my first Golden Knights game with my Dad. Now everyone calls ME a bandwagon fan, it’s disgusting.

As a leafs fan, vegas is my number 2 because they have the highest percentage of Canadian players at 61.5% of the team and team leadership! Incredible season so far!

Flower at his best ever in this series hands flipping down! And really was his best year ever and he’s had lots of great seasons. And it probably was the best goaltending series in NHL history because quick was fantastic too.

I'm a Lightning fan, but I have to admit that the Golden Knights season, and now playoff games, are some of the most impressive things I have seen in hockey ever. When I first read about them entering the league with their "chopped off and sewn together" team I did not even believe they would be able to go above .500!
