At the start of the year, even the team's management thought they would be a mediocre team to start. Who would have thought that a team of 2nd/3rd line players and a future HOF goaltender is all you need for an incredible team. Really going to shake up the prevailing thought that superstar players are the backbone of a team

I didn’t have faith in the Knights at the beginning of the year. I thought they wouldn’t win a cup until years into their existence. I can’t even be mad that they got the division title instead of us for the first time in a while because they deserved it. I may only be one man but I gladly say "Congratulations on a most impressive inaugural season. You all have surpassed expectations and became a true Western Confrence Super Power. I can assure you that most if not all of Pens fans are cheering you all on in the final. We eagerly await facing off against such a great team. We absolutely love the pregame shows. We look forward to watching the Golden Knights hoist Lord Stanley's Cup. All the love in the world."

I see people saying vegas doesnt deserve the cup because so and so team has been waiting decades, wtf kind of sore loser mentality is that? Ive never seen this sick reaction in any pro sports ever. Why would you even jinx your team and put that type of pressure on them to win? So much for the NHL being the only sport with class.

these are NOT players that other teams didn't want. they were players other teams were NOT allowed to protect. if you know anything about hockey, the knights had the best talent pool to select from in nhl expansion draft history, and due to financial rules some really good players were available.
