Why AMY ROSE Deserves BETTER? SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3... #shorts

Amy Rose in Sonic doesn’t need to be the franchise’s most useless character. While she’s often seen as one of the weaker characters, especially in the IDW comics, the old Archie Comics series actually made her much more interesting. In Archie, Amy was too young to join the Freedom Fighters, and her frustration led her to use a magical ring to wish herself older. However, this didn’t convince Sonic to let her fight, and her wish had major consequences, including stopping a cure for Sally Acorn’s mother. IDW tried to give Amy and other female characters more depth, but their attempt fell flat, portraying her again as an obsessed Sonic fangirl. Archie took a more creative approach by introducing Rosy the Rascal, Amy’s evil counterpart, who amplified Amy’s quirks. Future Sonic stories, including IDW's, could learn from Archie’s version to make Amy a more compelling character.

What do you mean “especially in IDW”? I’d argue some of her biggest feats come from IDW.
Archie portrayed her as even more of a fan girl than IDW ever has (at least in the earlier issues)

Oh no no no. Amy is not an over obsessed fan girl in idw. She actually takes on a strong girl boss role(make up your own mind as to you how feel about that) her role while not the most important isn’t useless and often is needed to save the day.

I think she’s realistic. We’re not all super awesome and effortlessly help out, but we try our best to help. Every group has at least one that isn’t that useful bur has a heart of gold. Hell, alot of teams i’ve been on have consisted of only that.

The only female characters that actually have female representation is Blaze, Whisper, Tangle and Lanolin as I know of in the idw comics.
