Doesn't look to me like his life is sad. Yes, he's had personal tragedy and the other stuff mentioned, but he's led a fufilling life and has overcome hardship. Sounds to me he is a very resilient, determined man and that is a life that is not sad, but successful and happy. The title does Robert Plant a grave dishonor and slap in the face.

I saw them in their heyday a total of eight times... My friend and I even met and spoke with Robert and he was so soft spoken. But when you went to a Led Zeppelin concert, you could smell the ozone in the air and feel the crackling of the gathering lightning that was about to strike that stage... It was there every last single time I went to one of their concerts back then.Once when they were in Seattle Washington, they brought out stools and tried to play mellower stuff from heir third album. Well that Seattle crowd wasn't having anything to do with it. They started throwing firecrackers and frisbees and crap...And I was right up front against the stage. Then they just stopped, and without saying a word to each other, they took their stools away picked up their gear, Robert looked down at me with a wink and then they LAUNCHED into Communication Breakdown...All He77 broke loose... I've never stopped following this man's career, 29 Palms, Ship of Fools, and on and on. and on..This guy's the real deal. He's never stopped evolving.

Robert suffered deep losses in his life....but he also experienced great joys and successes most people do not. He was a⁶ thinker and a creative. He had an inner strength
and intellect that enabled him to channel through his pain in a constructive way. He is a person of growth. Innovativel and always learning.

That band was groundbreaking. It laid the path for every metal band since.
I wish him good health, longevity and peace to the last days of his life. The immense gratitude for the music goes without saying. Check out Hearts tribute and performance of Stairway To Heaven.
