I ran into (literally) Robert Plant at the Nashville airport several years ago. I was a bit star struck for a moment and managed to say thank you for all the wonderful music over the years. He was very gracious and replied “don’t stop listening, I am not dead yet”.

Him ending the interview with " Just love everything around you as much as you can " is actually a phenominal bit of insight to coping with such a massive tragedy to befall anyone as losing their child.

I love this guy. He’s so thoughtful, soulful, funny and lovely. And the best rock singer of all time, period.

I lost my son in 2017, and Plant is correct, I don’t know how you get through it. I thought I would die from the grief and pain, yet six years have passed and I’m still here, but oh how I miss my boy. He was my person, my heart.

Who can watch that interview and not come away with tremendous admiration for Robert Plant? Very few of our rock idols from the 60s and 70s has aged with as much grace and class as Robert. His music today is as relevant as any of the Led Zeppelin songs.

"Theres no advice, just love everything around you as much as you can"

That advice was so simple yet so profound.

Robert Plant came out the other side of the Led-Zeppelin hurricane with so much class and true inspiration to all in the music business.

This man is and will always be my musical hero. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve grown to appreciate just what an intelligent, wise, humble and soulful human being he is and my respect and admiration for him continues to grow.
He really is one of a kind. Legendary man

Dan is a great interviewer, never interrupts and allows his subjects to finish their thought

Honestly, the most gracefully articulate rock star of all time. There's nobody like him.

Robert Plant always comes over as a thoroughly nice and grounded man, no arrogance just an articulate straight forward guy

Plant is one of the greatest poets of the 20th century. Absolute genius.

The thing I really like about this man, he was and is famous as all get out. But he doesn’t act like he has ultimate wisdom that the world needs to hear from him. A quality that seems to be missing from the “stars” today. Bravo Sir!

I love listening to Robert speak, it's like he's speaking poetry, he's very eloquent gentleman.

Stairway is more powerful to me, now at 63 than it was at 23. So much appreciation in my life to Robert and Jimmy. So, so much appreciation for all of their music.

"Love everything around you as much as you can." Wise words that I need to follow more.

I know he would deny this, but he's a lyrical genius

My son was murdered 2 months ago, so I know exactly how Plant feels. The only difference is that my son was taken from us, it was no accident or sickness. I can certainly see why "All of My Love" means much more to him than Stairway.
