What to do when SIL over dominates you being younger to you.. when she wants to downgrade you by showing only SIL and MIL can give your husband the love that is supposed to be given by a wife.. And she isn’t thinking about her marriage being 36 now.. She wants to keep on ruling her brother and his family. There’s no differentiation between who is wife and who is sister. More than this, a newly married wife is not accepted as a DIL in her new home. Somebody should be always there to keep DIL feel it’s not her home, it’s not her husband and it’s not her life.. Be it village or city, this is the case everywhere!

Okay. But what to do when your husband's sister is constantly exploiting your husband financially by asking him financial support, even when your husband is struggling to manage his own finances? My sister in law never shared the family expenses before she got married. Also all her college fees and marriage expenditures, jewels expenditures were paid by my husband as their parents were unemployed and poor. Now, even after she getting married she is rightfully enjoying all the comforts every month from the brother's monthly salary. In addition she is also asking for money for her investment she would like to do for her 4 year old kid. My husband is in a pathetic situation, by not able to say "No" for her ruthless expectations. Should I keep encouraging this behavior? Please let me know. 🙏🙂
