Small nitpick: Special Grades are anomalies in two cases, either to be able to grow in power indefinetly (Yuta copying infinite Techniques or Geto consuming way too much curses) or cause enormous destruction (Yuki's blackhole or just Gojo...existing), brute force or even immortality (like Hakari or Kenjaku) aren't enough to be qualified as such.

TL; DR: Special Grades either have unmatched growing potential or unmatched destruction, most other cases are put in Grade 1

Grades in JJK are decided by the Jujutsu higher-ups. They can sometimes estimate a curse's grade wrong. Or they can purposefully put a sorcerer in a lower grade than they deserve. (Like Maki.) There is also a whole system around this. A lot of it is about politics.

Sukuna must be someone who should be considered beyond modern special grade

Like bruh we saw from s1 that between special grades there is crazy distance aka sukuna vs finger bearer when sukuna said you know we both classified as special grade

Grade 1’s can hold their own or even beat/exorcise Special Grade Curses. Just like Meimei vs the SmallPox Cursed Spirit. Megumi beating the Finger Bearer special grade. And Yuji/Todo beat Mahito. Hell Nanami held his own against Mahito. If grade 1 sorcerers band or help each other then they can exorcise a special grade curse but too bad Dagon was different case.

And the fact is, some say other grade 1 level sorcerers like Yuji & Hakari can go toe to toe in a prolonged fight with the 4 special grade sorcerers, even going as far as beating them.

I can understand the lowballing on Geto, but Yuki/Yuta? Those are like the top 5 of the verse for me wdh

From what they had told us about Dhruv I would say that he was also a Special Grade sorcerer.

Actually sorcerers are supposed to be able to defeat curses one level higher for example grade one sorcerers are supposed to be able to take on special grade curses excluding anomalies like Jogo who aren’t even registered

Geto and Mei Mei have similar CT’s in that you gain control over an entity. Could geto use a binding vow to make his curses perform a suicide attack like Mei Mei with her bird strike? And since low-level curses should be way stronger. And have more cursed energy than a crow the destructive output should be greater than Mei Mei. Honestly, it seems like a more efficient use than uzamaki. Esp since bird strike can 1 tap special grades. What do you think ?!?

Question, can Choso use RCT? Since he's half curse, would it damage him to use RCT?Or just using normal CE would heal him?Would his human body allow him to live with using RCT?

If you are wondering, a special grade does not need to be stronger than a grade 1, take yuta in jjk 0, he isnt special grade, him at the start i wold say is 2 at best, but with rika he has somthing special that makes him an anomaly in the jjk world. That is why he is special from the start. Now after jjk 0 he looses this rika, but he fights his way back to that special grade status later.

When kenjaku die, the curse went out of control, did the same thing happened when geto die, because when geto die, his curses doesn't goes rampage or did gojo kill all the rampage curses when geto die?

One question, if anyone can theoretically unlock RCT, how would Geto cursed technique look like?

Do we think that the weakest 4th grade sorcerer is closer to the strongest 1st grade sorcerer, than the weakest special grade sorcerer/spirit is to the strongest special grade sorcerer/ cursed spirit?

Hey quick question here, Yuki seemed to be said that her gravity gets so intense that it defines all concepts. So why couldn't she bypass Gojo's limitless concept? Or is it she could but she didn't?
