He doesn’t want a divorce because you, “lied about how you met” or “Chinese food.” He freaked out because he realized he was married to a MASSIVE manipulator who staked him and manipulated multiple people to get what she wanted. That’s messed up behavior.

Maybe they should have called CPS to get the step siblings. Those kids are about to get their lives ruined if they stay there.

That second story... Imagine deluding yourself so hard to think that your soon to be ex husband "never loved you" just so you feel better about stalking him. GOD.

The second story was very disturbing and terrifying for the husband but what makes it more creeoy is the fact that OP's last statement was about "finding a new husband". I mean you found out that your husband is divorcing you because of your crazy stalker stunts and your first reaction is blaming HIM and thinking about A NEW HUSBAND?? She thinks of her husband like an achievement, a trophy for her delusional "hardwork" into building a fake relationship with a man. This person needs to be admitted in sime psych ward.

Yeah that second story... She was a complete stalker for getting with him... That sort of thing should've been taken to your grave.

Second story: if a man did this, we would absolutely call him out as a pervy stalker. And reading her narrative, she can't even be honest with herself and with the reader, because she switches her story back and forth to suit the moment. This is either fiction, or this lady is a compulsive liar.

I'm honestly stunned at how poorly the stalker wife sold her story like wow that was maybe the worst way to say it. Could have said like idk "you know how you met me when I was 17? Well I actually met you when I was 14, and I thought it was love at first sight even back then. I tried my my best to meet you again and I'm glad it all worked out" like this still extremely weird but it's an "oh yeah I was kind of a strange kid" weird and not "hey I actually manipulated my way into your life" weird

First Story: Yo this 100% sounds like a cult and I really hope OP gets out of this situatuon. OP's mom and step-dad sound insane. I’m glad OP's friend's parents have been so helpful with OP and giving them a place to stay away from these people. I hope OP's dad get that emergency custody (and hopefully full custody) and I hope OP siblings get out of this as well. I feel so sorry for this step-siblings, these two are insane especially OP's mom. What does she mean OP "corrupted her womb"? Honestly, OP's mom is a terrible woman and mother to try and force her cult beliefs onto her kids and insult OP like that

Second Story: So basically OP stalked her current boyfriend, used his brother to get closer to him, and never told him the real reason to how she knew him? This is creepy af. OP is giving off the vibe that she feels like this is no big deal. This honestly would’ve been a deal breaker for me because of the fact that OP kept this from him and his brother and mom for years. Lmao what? OP feels betrayed? What a joke, this woman kept this creepy ass secret for years and is so uncaring about it. OP IS crazy

Comment: Facts

Third Story: I’m not a lawyer but I don’t think this lady will win this lawsuit because she allowed her child to trespass on OP's property even when told not to multiple times. Lmao, not only did this lady fail to sue she got arrested for abuse and child endangerment

Story 1: Holy hell, that compound is 100% a cult. His dad, and his friend's parents are absolute MVPs for standing by and helping OP, and preventing the mom from taking OP by force. Good to hear OP is now in the care of his dad. Honestly, the mom is like a very religious Karen who took things way too far.

This was a heavy one between the borderline kidnapping cult and the delusional stalker I'm quite shaken and that ain't easy.

Second story, I feel so bad for the husband. All those years of happiness, all a lie from a psychotic selfish person. but OP is 100% correct when she said she deserved it. But no one deserves to have her in their life.

Story 2: I'll always find it funny how the OP thought the husband exaggerated to make her sound crazy, no lady, the stalking and lying made you sound crazy.

In the words of one of my favorite podcasts

“You’re in a cult, call your dad!”

So I just wanted to join in and say, about story 1: this sounds similar to a recent murder case. The one about Lori Vallow. Lori went religiously mad a few years ago, very similarly to the mother in story 1. Lori had her brother kill her husband, then ran away with her secret lover who she then married. Shortly after that, her son and daughter disappeared. It turns out Lori killed her children because they were “evil” and she buried them on her new husbands property. She just went to trial recently. I remember seeing videos of her talking about them like they’re actual demons. It was horrifying.

Basically, I’m VERY glad OP got out without too much damage.

That story where she stalked her husband until they got together made me almost as speechless as the stalker with the diary from a couple videos ago

Story 1: People talk about how signs of an abusive relationship include isolation. Yeah, this post is more about a cult, but the same thing is happening here as well since OP's mom and step-dad are thinking of pulling OP and the sister from school and separate them from their peers, only to bring them to some sort of cult-like place.

I'm glad that OP's dad did manage to get OP and the sister out of there. I hope the step-siblings didn't suffer badly, they don't deserve a cult life

Second story: i don't think OP did anything majorly wrong at the beginning of this whole story. She was fourteen, saw this guy, got a crush for him and became kind of obsessed with him. We all did stupid things as teenagers because of a crush, including searching all of their social media, trying to get close to them in all the possible (and often awkward) ways, become detectives to find what they like and dislike, etc.
The thing that feels weird is that this obsessive crush never stopped and instead kept going for years, to the point where it feels like OP never truly loved her husband but just stayed fixated on him. If i were him i would ask for a divorce and possibly a restraining order.

Story 3: Classic Karen behavior. Does something stupid, nearly suffers immediate consequences for it, and then deflects blame on the other person. Glad she got arrested and the kids aren't with her anymore, because what the peck was she thinking?

OP's dad on story 1 is a hero !! Same as OP's uncle, OP's friends and the friends' parents.. The mom and the stepdad (AND the cult!!) are NUTS, mostly the delusional mentally ill mom!! I feel deeply sad and bad for the siblings, but.. we all know what will happen😔..

Omg the second story, i remember that.. And OP is CREEPY AF! I think she need a reality check ASAP, we need to call the police on her or something..I feel bad for the (ex) husband, he deserves better than a huge narcissistic creep like OP

Story One: The difference between spirituality/religious belief and a cult is always about choice. I am not an expert, but many religions and spiritual practices promote freedom of choice and self-actualization. You take on practices because it's what you WANT to do in order to be a better person, you teach others about such practices by modeling them as an example and if others CHOOSE to be part of that, then they are welcome to do so. You never force anyone into believing your ideology, never shame them, never threaten, and never force them to stay. My mom and grandparents have always had firm Christian beliefs, but never once tried to force me to believe, they let me ask questions, and let me disagree with them. I've found great spirituality in Buddhism, and it has made me so happy, but I arrived there on my own, not by being isolated or indoctrinated.

Story Two: Female Joe Goldberg! I was questioning why she suddenly felt the need to admit to her husband why she stalked and manipulated her way into being his wife, like what changed to make her feel guilty? Then she admits that she doesn't feel bad about what she did, just that she was trying to save face from him potentially finding out on his own. She is either a psychopath, a narcissist, or just straight up delusional, but I'm glad her husband ran!
