Well the fatboy is an original design and the r18 is a trumped up fatamorgana, with no history. If the R18 was the best handling bike in the world i would not buy it! Why? It's a not even a lie on two wheels!

Bad design in the BMW. Heads stick out so much that you cant put in forward controls, cant stretch legs at all. Would be Very uncomfortable on all long trips. Plus the low clearance on the bmw causes you to scrape on most sharp turns. Winner is: Harley Davidson

This is a promo vid because nobody thinks the r18 is the best cruiser not even close. Not a Harley fan boy either realistically it’s not a good cruiser.
