Get Month Name and number in Excel | MONTH, TEXT, DATEVALUE Formula

In case you want to find a month of the dates but there are lots of date with numbers which is a big hassle for you, then this month formula is going to be a gem for you. I remember my struggle to extract a month from lots of dates it was terrific and time confusing process so, here I am going to share month formula of excel to ease your work as it helped me too.

We will us the following formula

01. Get Month Number from the date

=MONTH(

02. Get Month Name from the date

=TEXT(

03. Get Month Number from month name

=TEXT( [In this we multiply by *28 to get the exact month number]

04. Get Month name from number.

=MONTH(DATEVALUE(

if I Have February in one sheet and want to have Automatically get the month after in another sheet, Like I have 6 sheets total, if I enter any month its need to show me the month after each in all other sheets like Sheet 1 I enter March in sheet two it has to be April, sheet 3 may and like that all, con you please show that I need it urgent please.
