Wet scanning with Better Scan holder for Epson V 800.

Workflow for wet mounting negatives. Epson scanner using Better Scan negative holder. Raw scanning with VuScan and Color Perfect Color Neg software.

I now use SilverFast Pro Scanning software. Does bit better job in terms of image sharpness.

Hey Steve, great informative video. I had a couple quick questions. What is the custom larger mask material made of? The piece you place on top of the better scanning holder right before you are about to scan. Secondly, where did you purchase the roller to take out air bubbles? Finally, what is under the duck taped custom mounting station you built in order to lift the glass up off the table to help prevent dust from adhering to the 4x5 neg during the wet mounting process? Also another question on whether you bought the Anti Newton Glass for dry and fluid mount or the fluid mount only? I am wondering if it would be advised to get the ANG glass

Thank you for this video. I have an epson 4870 and plan on ordering the Betterscanning holder variable height adjustable. What did you make your mounting station out of? Just wondering. thanks
