i drag and drop them into the mods folder but they don't pop up in game. if i have steam workshop mods does it conflict with loading this folder?

You mean if you download a truck then add it to the game you have to pay for it at the truck dealer in the game

I'm starting to hate mods all I have is paint job mods and a couple of mods that add extra trucks but certain mods cause my game to crash for example higher horsepower engine mods if I use them then try and buy a new truck at a dealer the game crashes

These mods aren't worth it I can't get any of the mods on this site because to many adds are popping up trying to cover up the buttons I'm supposed to press to even get the mod how come you didn't get the same experience
