It's now more than one year since President Emmanuel Macron first told French people to stay home and that he would do "whatever it takes" to keep people's businesses and livelihoods going.

Worst country for distancing. Went to a number of supermarkets; French dont care about the 2m rule, pushing up against me in the queue.

No further forward, going no where and stagnant. France and EU have gone nowhere in a year - the same as the previous 25 years. Ce'la vie!
