History of MARS

Mars is one of the most interesting planets of our Solar System. It is the fourth planet from the Sun and is a dusty, cold, desert world with a very thin atmosphere. On Mars, we see volcanoes, canyons, and impact basins much like the ones we see on Earth. Many of the same physical land features we see on Earth also exist on Mars. It is the most widely searched planet for life.

One day on Mars is completed within 24.6 hours while a whole trip around the Sun, is completed within 669.6 days. So mars is pretty much similar to earth. It is the only planet apart from Earth that lies within the habitable zone of Sun.

The habitable zone is the area around a star where it is not too hot and not too cold for liquid water to exist on the surface. Many research works have shown that Mars once had water and even life.

The Solar System was formed from a giant rotating ball of gas and dust. Much of it formed the Sun while more of its dust went on and merged to create the first proto-planets. Mars was one of these planets and after the gravity pulled enough swirling gas and dust, it became the fourth planet from the Sun.

About 5.4 billion years ago, Mars was hell. Magma Oceans flowed on the surface of Mars. After a billion years, magnetic field formed around mars. This created a protective layer around mars, which shielded mars from solar radiation.

About 4.3 billion years ago a huge object collided with mars, the remains of the object started orbiting mars, which formed rings around the red planet.

The death of Mars always makes me kinda of sad. For anybody living on it at the time, it'd have been a horrifying experience. I hope they managed to get outta there, and who knows. Maybe that's where WE came from. Perhaps the real Eden, is on Mars somewhere

Mars has a smaller volume than Earth and smaller mass. The radioactive isotopes that kept its core molten were exhausted more quickly and the heat was able to escape to the surface more easily.

1 thing: we don't know whether Mars ever had life.
An environment that potentially could suppport life does not mean it definitely will take off.

Poor Mars if there was water I would go there

And also, thanks for reasoning, your calm voice and the perfect description of it, wow. I’m sorry about that screaming lady down in comment section, you handled it like a boss.

Wait what?

its the planet most similar to earth and could very will hosted primitive life forms on it's surface when mars had its earth like conditions.

This is the lost city of hebeth. This was before your time with the sentinels.

with the sun slowly growing could that mean that there is a slim chance of there being other planets that were in the solar system that were consumed by the sun before we could even get to exist?

Sick video mann. I hope complex life evolves on Neptune and Uranus when the sun expands

2:40 is probably happen to us. But we would be dead. So i wont be worried about the future of out planet.

Need more mass. At least three times more then it have, and less orbit eccentricity. And maybe little closer to the sun. With all that parameters, today Mars would be an ice world with a lot of water and maybe enough atmospheric pressure for our skin not to boil. Then we could only use warm clothing, eye protection and oxygen masks, and that would be enough to walk around. So it would be like polar expeditions on antarctica mountains.

Life possibly evolved on Saturn's moon Titan when the sun expands outwards

For 1 inch to half an inch of snow and only one supermarket i guess Mars was good in its prime. Weirdest tree's tho.
