In His Beatitudes, Jesus pronounced blessings on those we would least expect. But Christ also declared curses on people that surprise us. Today, R.C. Sproul continues his series in the gospel of Luke by contrasting these oracles of weal and of woe.

After hosting the conference at a church that *openly celebrates* immorality, then mocking people for calling it out,
RC Sproul is the only content I can trust at this point

"Today I am giving you a choice of two ways. And I ask Heaven and earth to be witnesses of your choice. You can choose life or death. The first choice will bring a BLESSING. The other choice will bring a curse. So choose LIFE! Then you and your children will LIVE. You must LOVE the LORD your God and OBEY Him. Never leave Him, because He is your LIFE. And He will give you a long life in the land that He, the LORD, promised to give to your ancestors—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob." (Deut. 30:19-20)

I have always liked this man I still have some problem with the whole rewards in heaven thing. GOD Gives us HIS Grace to believe in HIM and our works are wrought in us So, I guess since we will be like HIM in Heaven, we will be extra Thankful to HIM for anything He gives us more than I believe help my if some child of God here on earth does a lot for the Kingdom of God, in heaven I won't be thankful to that person but to God for his work through that brain used to handle these teachings a lot better when I was younger.

Great sermon. Now I really want to know what that senior sermon was about though.

"Blessings & Curses"

Great title kind sir...For it proves; that Jesus was NOT just a "Loving God". Rather He was also a "Punishing God" when it comes to sins. Now many try to belittle that verse; as they say, "Jesus forgives us or all of our sins!".

But they have forgotten that Jesus said: "I shall forgive All* sins...! Now, that word "shall"; is future tense. Never forget that Brethren. For the forgiveness is fulfilled ON "Judgment Day". Oh indeed.

However, while ON earth:

1. Leviticus 26:28 Then I will walk contrary (against) you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise ("punish" in English) you seven times for your sins.

2. Romans 2:6 Jesus will bless (untold) every man according to his deeds.

...In any case Brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

* Mark 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men (every one), even blasphemies howsoever they shall blaspheme: Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit has never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation (hell)

That blasphemy is the "Un-Forgivable Sin!". And that teaches us: That the ONLY sin ANY one could commit; is this one. It means: IF ANY one dies and has not believed IN the true God (who is Jesus); they will go to hell. But remember that sin can NOT happen; until that person draws their last breath.

And that tells us: That Jesus' patience; is unbelievably "Lenient". Praise His Holy Name..
