The 7 Main Blessings & Curses In The Bible | Derek Prince Bible Study

In Deuteronomy 28 we can find many blessings but many more curses. Bible teacher Derek Prince made a summation of the seven main blessings & seven main curses:

Seven blessings:
1. Exaltation
2. ‘Reproductiveness’
3. Health
4. Prosperity/success
5. Victory
6. Head vs. tail
7. Above vs beneath

Seven curses:
1. Humiliation
2. Barrenness
3. Sickness of every kind
4. Poverty/failure
5. Defeat
6. Tail vs. head
7. Beneath vs. above.

I just wanna be honest.. I have done a lot of bad things.. and I’ve always felt a barrier between me and what I’m supposed to do.

1- I’ve had an abortion and I was there and present and I knew in my heart it was wrong.
2-I have slept with a cousin.. and I knew it was wrong before hand.
3-I have a problem with lying and I knows it’s and wrong and I can hear the spirit say.. stop this is not right.
4-I have a small amount of lust in me.. I don’t cheat all the time but I have once. I don’t look at porn.. but I do get urges.
5-I have fornicated before marriage multiply times when younger (20s)

Now I have asked for forgiveness from all these things and I know god wants me to pray and help people. I feel a calling on my life but I struggle with drugs and alcohol. I fee like the enemy has been attacking since I was young cause he knows.. I’ve always knew god existed but just wasn’t good at listening..

Well I just wanna say that is changing and I renounce all those sins.. I fast now.. I pray often.. I love everyone.. even those who hate me. I have love inside me that I can’t explain.. the next step of my journey is to pray and heal people because I know pain.. I know heartbreak.. I know sin.. I know murder (I was in Iraq) I have suffered with addiction.. and I can use all these things to be a blessing through the father for others! I will stand with God and lead America and my town back to Jesus. Please pray for me all. The enemy is always trying to attack me through my environment.. I fee like it’s a battle between my head and heart.. and I want all wickedness and carnality GONE in the name of Jesus!

Thank you everyone who reads this and says a prayer for my ministry and my family.. which is everyone. I wanna be a the most bold the most courageous preacher out there! *I intend to inform you as a warning*

(At 1:02 - 1:46) This doctrine is explicitly of the old testament, and is not what God cohesively promises in the new testament; not what Jesus, who we follow as Christians, taught/promised in the new testament. The Torah is the enforcement of the ceremonial law (that is obsolete to Christians) and the moral law (mandatory; intrinsic for Christians).

(At 2:03 - 2:15) God is sovereign and the dictator of everything (Psalms 135:6), and His servants aren't (The gospel according to John 15:19-20). Be cautious, as Derek Prince's statement is vague; Christians are not in control of circumstances but their will or submission to God is required (James 4:7) by: repentance (Matthew 9:13), abiding in truth and love (Ephesians 6:14 & Matthew 22:37), serving God, which is submitting yourself to God (James 4:7), and all of the sort (With-in Biblical parameters).

*I'd like to establish*

One of God's most prominent attributes is: Abundant love (The gospel according to John 3:16); God is merciful, though there is a debt from sin called death (Romans 6:23). We are saved from the wrath of God by His grace, and not works (Ephesians 2:8). We all may co-operate with God's attributes; God loves us, and the devil perverts God's image in our tribulations along with our trials. (We should not admire this) the devil disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14) and he is a liar (John 8:44).

Jesus promises tribulations and not prosperity on earth (The gospel according to John 16:33). We temporarily live in a fallen world (if you're a devoted Christian; you enter heaven afterwards).
Please consider: reading the new testament; Matthew 6:19 - 20 (prioritise heaven and *NOT earthly desires*). I beseech you: repent of sinful nature that has come to jeopardise you (even gradually degrading you).

If our heavenly Father is willing, may he prepare you for your journey. Remain tenacious in faith, and relentless; dead to sin for God. We must, Amen.
