Coronavirus cases go up in Germany as vaccination rates fall | COVID-19 Special

Since July, vaccination centers in Germany are nowhere near as busy as they were when the campaign kicked off in the spring. At the same time, Germany still needs at least five million vaccinations to make it safely through the fall. Around 190,000 jabs are administered every day – the figure needs to be three times as many.
More than 60 percent of the population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, but the pace of inoculations has slowed in recent weeks. To get things back on track, Berlin authorities have enlisted the help of the public transport system – inviting people to get on the vaccine train!

That doesnt make any sense.

The total amount of vaccinations are still constantly going up so you can't blame increase in covid cases on vax-rates stagnating.

EU should not have played vaccine politics, reap what you sow..

Does it have to be ON a train? It seems like it would be a good idea to set up vaccination stands at transit stations where people pass through frequently.

I'm interested in why people who have had the corona virus are not counted in vaccinated or immunized people. It is as if our naturally given immune system no longer has any value or is obsolete?!

Would be good to get all those vaccinated back on screen to talk about their after jab symptoms…

In Berlin: my wife got her 2nd shot 2 wks ago. We had to go across town to the old Tegel Airport, then walk 2km to the terminal. It's really dumb. Why not shots at every apotheke?

This pattern has been repeated in most highly vaccinated countries.

Positive tests, sure. But how many hospitaladmissions? That is what matters. And those are very few.

Wait, are you saying it is so difficult to get the vaccine that people decide it's too much trouble to get it? Not sure elsewhere, but the pharmacies and clinics here accept walk-ins (San Antonio, Texas). In fact, they advertise they do.
