Hipshots should pretty much come standard on all 4-sting basses. Total game changer. You’re getting 2 out of 5 extra notes you’d have on a 5-string but with a nice slim neck like a 4-sting. And it’s like the Eb and D are probably used way more frequently by 5-string players than Db, C, and B

It’s a real treat to see Mr. Sklar demonstrating that lever. My mainstay bass guitar since Dec. 2020 is a fretless 4-string which wasn’t built with that lever but that I hope I can modify with one eventually.
