Should note that this requires registering for google cloud platform which is separate from a firebase account. Although registering is free it does require a valid credit card. A lesser prefered way which does not require a credit card would be IFTTT. This platform not only allows time triggers but triggers from other services which can then trigger a http request cloud function .

In the GCP console the topic was "call-my-phone" . But, on the index.ts file the topic was "callme".How will it work if both the topics are different?

Hi Jeff, Great video thank you very much, and I like how you put the end of the video at the start. 😉 can the cron take into consideration different time zones? i.e if I wanted to run a cron job at midnight, if my app was being used in Ireland and the US, how would that work? would the cron job just execute on wherever its based (i.e a data center in the US), so to Irish users the cron might be triggered at 4 AM Irish time.

Hi, do you know how to run an existing Cloud Scheduler Job, from Golang or NodeJS ( any client library ), and that the body can be dynamic? so I can send different payload with different params to the Job and the job send the body to the function.
