Come on then, what do you make of the all-electric Honda E? With 99% of journeys in the UK under 100 miles, is it a car that's 99% suitable to our lives?

That interior is literally next level. Well done Honda!

The comparison between Toyota and Honda pretty much explains what happened to the NSX and what happened to the Supra. Brilliant!

Legitimately one of the most attractive cars i've seen in years.

Perfect car for the weekly commute. I'll keep a Dino guzzler for the weekends.

They really need to bring out something more similar to the concept as the gen two car.

My old motorbike had a range of around 120 miles, it lasted a few days between fill ups with daily commuting. The idea of starting the day with a full 130 mile range every morning is pretty good

I'm glad Honda have tried to make an EV look interesting and a bit different, the model 3 makes me want to fall asleep when I see one 😴

"Toyota is run by accountants, Honda by engineers" - Very well said, particularly when you think about what the new Supra's materialised out to be...

I love it. Want one, in white.

Release the concept as the R

My terrible fear is that sales will not be good enough to justify a round 2 to see future gen with a better range

Really. Cool car. This must be promoted by Mr. Bean. Same color. Cool

Probably the best way to describe the Honda brand I've ever heard Qudos Mr Harris.

Absolutely. Look at old civics from 88 to 00
Double wishbones in the front and independent rear suspension. Unique in its class. Also full Aluminium engines with 16 valves back then.

What where for example the germans doing in this class back then? Heavy iron lumps with 8 valves, cheap mc pherson struts and even cheaper torsion beam or solid beams in the back. Plus, no variable valve timing.

So yeah Honda allways had an Engineering spirit about it. Starting all the way back with the first car they put on sale the honda s500/s600. They allways had a special focus on egineering. The civic cvcc, the 1300 Coupe, the s800, the Prelude, the insight, the NSX, the integra Type R, the civic Type R EK9 and so on.

Most urban drivers (certainly in London anyway) don’t have access to off-street parking at home, so that short range becomes a real issue. If you can’t easily charge at home, that low range becomes hugely inconvenient and a drain on your time.

130 mile range means it’s great for a daily and terrible for anything else. So I suspect most buyers will own a second car as well for long range but just want this for getting around town. The concept looked good too, oh well, it’s still kinda cute 😂

0:28 Hit the nail on the head with the styling of the production car vs the prototype. I was hoping this car would be my first eV... until I saw the production version. The prototype seemed to take cues from the cool Peugeot 205GTi

It's nice to see Honda and ASICS collaborating.

If it was $30k USD, I'd order one right now. What a beautiful little vehicle. Perfect commuter and beep beep car.

I recently had a go in one and I loved it. It feels very Japanese and oozes authentic old school Honda!

I urge the doubters to go and test drive one. I did a few weeks ago and now I really, really want one!
