The 720s was 0.5 seconds slower but the p1 has 200 more hp and it costs a million dollars more. The results were

I am amazed by maclaren technology from small V8 they put out all that power just amazing this 720 s it's unmatchable I used to hate maclrens but with this 720s they nailed it from the look to the peeformance

Some quirks of this show.

-This season of Top Gear is almost as great as The Grand Tour.
-Chris carries this show.
-Rory got 3 minutes of screentime in the entire episode.
-The Stig is useless now because Chris is just as fast.

In the CHoC video the P1 did a 153.57 and with Trofeo R 1.51.78 so 3 seconds faster than the 720s. But still impressive. Chris is MTPGA (Making Top Gear Great Again)

The 720S did a lap in 1.55.2 - and the P1 (If my memory serves me right) did a lap in 1.53.xx.  So still a couple of seconds off the P1 but less than a second (1.54.xx) off the LaFerrari.

Any reason why the panning camera is waving around like the person operating it is pissed? I suppose they think that technique makes the car look faster. Dumbing down for the majority, and not becoming of an excellent motoring journalist such as Mr Harris. Shame.

Chris is very talented at driving unlike most car reviewers.

I hate the editing. You should take inspiration from Best Motoring (just to give an example), the main camera showing how i t looks from the driver's perspective and then film the car in some high speed corners to see how it looks from the outside. But with what you did not only don't we have any idea of what Chris is doing, we don't understand how fast it is either... Maybe normal people don't care, but petrolheads want to see skilled drivers and get a feel for what is actually happening (at least I do).
