I used to do this with the guy I dated (I’m autistic he was not autistic). But it would randomly be in the middle of dates and he loved it. He would ask interesting questions so I could explain further and talk abt it more if I wanted to bc he knew I loved talking about psychology. He was awesome and he really cared abt me. He was the only person that was interested in my ramblings lol. I miss him.

I’m 18 and when you are my age and in high school it is difficult to find people accepting of autistics or even open to the idea of dating an autistic, but he was. I was lucky to have him and he made sure I knew he felt lucky to have me. He really was a nice person who made sure I felt comfortable sensory wise and made sure to be direct with me when speaking. He was a really good man.

Sorry for the vent or ramble. I just needed to get this outta my system.
