Large cash bucket, avoids sequence risk altogether in retirement, I am living it, started building cash about 5 years before retirement, never worry about my investments.

It would be great to repeat this exact scenario but claiming SS early. the 40K will probably need less than 500K. Thanks

Key thing you touched on (but didn't expand enough on in my opinion) is in these plan scenarios, these folks need to invest carefully, conservatively during drawdown prior to SS. This ensures they reduce or remove sequence of return risks in that first 10 years. Once they get to the age when they are both drawing SS, they could invest as aggressively as they want for legacy.

I'm 47 currently with 440k in my 401K. I hope to retire at 60. I have 1 yr of emergency fund and i invest 15% of my 90k salary. House will be paid off before retiring. Thanks for your video.
