The EASY Way to Change a Bib Mousse in Your Dirt Bike Tire

Показать описание

Pro off-road racer Josh Knight, from "Ride With The Knights" demonstrates the correct, and easy way to get your next mousse installed using the all new Neutron Speed Pro Dirt Bike Tire Changer. This mechanism gets the wheel off the ground, onto a stable platform, and holds the wheel in place. Gone are the days of fighting to break the bead and remove the tire from the wheel with the incorporated bead breaker. The replaceable non-marring sliders help protect rims and spokes from unnecessary wear. The Speed Pro is designed for mousse inserts, but it also excels at making tube changes easier. Adjusts to work on wheels from 12”-21” and beyond. Assembly and disassembly are quick, and the unit packs into the included 10” x 8” x 28” carrying bag.

I did it!!! Use plenty of moose lube!!! I don't have that type of tire changer, but you technique still works without the lever arm. I only fell down once, next time im wearing full mx gear!
Thanks for the great video!!

Whoa whoa whoa whoa! You forgot 2 steps. The one step you forgot was cursing and swearing at the tire and the wheel for 15 to 20 minutes. The second step your forgot which is the final step. The "Gloating step" which is done after getting the new tire on by saying "Who's the boss now?!" while doing a body building pose. Keep up the great work Knight and RMATV!

Thanks for the tips. You did an outstanding job explaining the whole process. I have the Tusk tire changer and it works well but I may update to a new tire changer after watching this.

Great video, a little different than most others i've seen. I agree taking care of the rim lock first makes the most sense but seems most others do the rim lock last. Nothing worse than mounting the whole tire only to figure out you messed up the rim lock and have to start over.

Great guide. Made changing the tire so easy! Even easier that a tube. Thank you!

I promised myself I would watch this video every time I change a time from here on out! I bought the same tire changer and I love it. I don't hate changing tires anymore 😂

One of these tires changers are very tempting. Do they work with smaller wheels as well? (110s and 50s)?

How about if the tire won’t bead. Even if you use popped on the deed. Then the air runs out and the tire comes off the bead. I have struggled with this a few times.

How is it that your tire rotates when you turn it without your spokes hitting the plastic base? My 21” front rim when placed on the stand with settings at 21 inch rests the spokes on the plastic bases. I’ve likely ruined my rim (spokes at least) by bending all of the spokes as I pressed down on the tire to remove as all the pressure resides on the spokes.

Something tells me there’s someway to raise the rim slightly above the plastic base pieces but I see nothing in the instructions indicating that.

When do you put the valve stem through?

Maybe it’s me but every time I watch one of these videos it seems the tires are a lot more pliable than mine. Are you heating up the tire with a heat gun or something before installing? Is this something you recommend doing in addition to the tire lube? Thanks!

Tips for getting the bead to set on the rim? I blasted air into mine which got the bead to set, but then after one ride the bead came off of the rim

This looks like the wheel is resting on the spokes? Won't it mess up the spokes when pressing down to break the bead and/or spooning off the tires? This is my only reservations on this. If it's not resting on the spokes....gonna buy this!

Can this be used for tubes without pinching?

You did not show installing a brand new moose. It is much harder.
