Hi dear friend
My recommended parts for the new system
AMD Ryzen 9 7950X ===> 700$
MSI MPG X670E CARBON WIFI ==> 480$
ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI ==> 500$
G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB (4 x 16GB) 6400 CL32 _ F5-6400J3239G16GX2-TZ5RK ==> 560$
To optimize the power consumption, the processor voltage can be undervolted.

after the price drop, I bought a 7950x, then I never need to worry about changing buffer size and freezing any chanels

stop it no supposed to buy immediately on a brand new platform. wait until spring after the holiday pricing and 13th gen release to buy. This will also let the am5 bios bugs be fixed as well and then hopefully the x3d cpus will be out to help lower prices even more.

7950x is a beast in gaming & workload. The 13900k won't compete

IMO 5900x is good enough for pretty much everything around 'home' use including semi-professional content creators. Especially with the current pricing. 5950x if you want to flex. Both work on AM4 and don't require MB upgrade if you come from 39xx series. With that being said I believe this new generation is a huge miss from AMD.

if i was you and you want to save some money and keep your compatibility with the software you use, Maybe consider a 5900/50X upgrade, keep your Motherboard an RAM and get a CPU boost from a 5k chip ... Untill the prices of AM5 upgrading levels out in a year or so ..

good vid! i just have no interest in makin' upgrades to my Dedicated streaming PC with a Ryzen 5 3600 paired with a RTX 2060 KO which i sometimes local record and stream on it at tha same time, i'm ok with rockin' it and maybe get a spare x570 for it down tha road (once was an AMD FX 8350 i scrapped for a Ryzen 5 3600)

as for my gaming, i'm still on an i7 4790k paired with a GTX 1080Ti and weighing my options on it and for my gaming rig, Ryzen 9 5950x or a Ryzen 9 7950x woulda been a incredible upgrade for me but i just can't justify a motherboard which cost almost 300 bucks, though i would need new ram anyways because i7 4790k was tha last mainstream CPU to use DDR3 on it so eh
