5 Minute Overclock: Ryzen 9 7950X to 5950 MHz

In this video, we're overclocking the Ryzen 9 7950X CPU up to 5950 MHz in 5 minutes or less using the GIGABYTE X670E Aorus Master motherboard and EK-Quantum custom loop water cooling.

I'll speed-run you through the BIOS settings and provide some notes and tips along the way.

Wow, what a performance boost! I didn’t do everything in the tutorial, because of the fact this is a tuning for a different cpu(I have the 7700x), but just turning on a couple options from this video suggestions, & gave me 50-60 more fps. Before I was getting in warzone, 210-230fps minimal graphics settings 1440p, now its over 300fps but of course in warzone it dips but the lowest is 270fps and highest 312fps. This video deserves more recognition from youtube.

This man is a treasure. I'm pulling the trigger on a 7950x with the Black Friday sales and this guide really gave me the confidence that it's a good choice. Thank you.

I just got this GIGABYTE X670E AORUS XTREME. Great overcloker. Gigabyte lets you overclock PBO and do a manual overclock. Supper happy with stable overclocks.

Ok this oc guide is just for gugabyte motherboard because ut has that thing are you using the strategy 5 right, with other motherboards we need to choose strategy 2 or 3 or 4 right? 5 it cant be done on other motherboards

How would I replicate this on a TUF Gaming B650E? The BIOS looks completely different with different settings options

I have Gigabyte B650E Aorus Master motherboard paired with 7950x and I get black screens under heavy load such as Corona Benchmark and Prime95 (small FFTs). I haven't overclocked anything and I haven't changed anything in the BIOS (it's at factory defaults). Any idea what might be causing this? CPU and VRM temps are normal when the issue occurs (checked with hwinfo64). I have 360 AIO Arctic Liquid Freezer II. I tried the latest BIOS too without any change.

I have the same processor, but on an ASUS x670e Crosshair Hero. Could I apply these per core numbers, or would I need to make some adjustments? Right now I think I have all cores set to "10", but it feels like I have some more room to play with Thanks!

Hi, can you make a memory tuning guide for this board. I never had Gigabyte and I don't know very well the bios, and beside there is no review no guide for this motherboard, kinda strange. Also with this type of overclock have you tried games to see if it boost above 5500 Mhz.
