That round metal object with the victorian people on it in the jewelry section is a purse hanger...you lay the round metal part flat on the edge of a table and then hang your purse staps on the hook part. Keeps your purse off of the floor...Love your channel!

I LOVE finding those little paperback cookbooks! My daughter and I like to look through them because they are such nostalgia for her because I had so many when she was little and would make things out of them. She especially likes when we can find Halloween ones and I always get those for her 🎃

The trivet with the flowers-right after the “blue bow goose sighting”, is a Pyrex style I think. I used to have mixing bowls with that pattern on them.

That fabric & the calico pin cushion were cute and I love the green Planter.

The piece you were asking about is to hold a purse… balances on a flat surface when you hang the purse from the hook

I bought a strawberry kitchen trivet from you gosh almost 2 years ago! I believe it said “Sarah’s” kitchen on it well as you know my name isn’t Sarah but what I ended up doing was painting over the name Sarah’s with white paint and than purchased a custom decal that said Laura’s from Amazon for like $10. I put that right over the painted portion and it looks like my name was there all along. 😊 It looked great at my old house in my vintage strawberry kitchen

Put the little circle on the edge of the dinner table. Hang your purse on the wire while you are eating.

I had that fabric you bought. Yes, probably the late 60s. I remember making a drawstring bag out of it to hold my knitting projects.

Whenever I see the homemade stuffed animals I pick them up. I feel bad that alot of work and love went into them and they wind up in a thrift store.

Raggedy Ann and Andy look like they were painted with Tri-chem paints. It was metal tubes of paint with a roller ball tip like an ink pen. You would 'color' in pre-printed patterns on fabric. I have a quilt my grandma made for me when i was little. She painted the large blocks with girls wearing outfits made out of different flowers and colors and quilted them together. I loved painting with it.

The piece you didn't know is a handbag (purse) holder. The round part sits on the table top and your handbag hangs from the hook part. Security and save your handbag from being kicked about under the table or your chair. 👜

YES. It's a purse Hanger. I had a poodle one.

Great finds. But the grammer snob in me hates that the Phyllis souvenir piece is not spelled correctly. It should just have an apostrophe after the s, no extra s is needed.

I would prefer the pin cushion from India... I love the patina. That looks like a fun shop. Would you mind sharing the name and location of it? Thanks, Nicole.

I feel like this store would have had some Sweet Valley Twins books. I'm on the hunt for these for my daughter. Books today are too risque in the teen section.
