This week on TheComicBookReport, we are taking a look at Batman's Rebirth debut in Batman: Rebirth Deluxe Edition Book 1 by Tom King and David Finch.

This takes place after DC comics' Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's Batman run and is a decidedly new direction for the Dark Knight.

Thanks for stopping by, if you like my content please like my video and consider subscribing to my channel. We provide new comic book reviews every Wednesday and throw in a few bonus videos here and there.

If you have thoughts on Batman Rebirth, my review, Batman, or comics in general, I'd love to hear from you in the comments.

Until next time, have a great week!

Interesting to hear your take on this book. I was a fan of the Snyder Capullo run for sure, but heard a lot of bad things about Tom King's Batman. Especially in the second half of his run, when apparently Catwoman outwits and outfights Batman all the time. At least that's what some of the comments were. I haven't read any of the King run and thought about skipping it. But I must say I like the art you showed. And like you, I always get annoyed when they put in just two chapters of a crossover story.

I didn’t love the conclusion of the Bane storyline but otherwise King’s storytelling is pretty awesome. I like how to compares and contrasts Bane and Bruce’s childhoods

Seem like a pretty good one to get at some point. But i have to restrain myself a bit for the moment. Got a BIG collection of stuff to be shipped from the LCS soon and even ordered a copy of Absolute Carnage TPB today along with a recent buy of Batman Vol.1 Their Dark Designs TPB. :) cheers
