And we cook it on the steam not boiled in water

I have seen a lot of pearl couscous salad recipes calling for toasting before adding water, but this is the first calling for olive oil in the toasting. Why? I have often heard from chefs to not add oil to boiling pasta, since couscous is a pasta isn't this a mistake?

Why is it so oily! I'll leave out the tuna. It doesn't really fit with the rest of the ingredients.

They never chopped the avo !! Also didn't show the full process of the couscous cooking. Does one drain off excess water, or do you let couscous absorb it all? Very disappointing!!
