I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia, and I find most people tend to think how it works is you just have bad episodes every once and a while and then go on with your every day life. But its not! Psychotic disorders aren't an on and off thing, they can affect your every day life

The part that sucks is being someone who has other expenses to pay for and can’t even afford getting professional help...

If you are struggling with any issue and feel like you can't take anymore, don't feel shy to ask help to professionals or someone who can truly help you. It doesn't make you less good than others just because you search help. Take care of your body and of your mental health too. You are amazing and I am sure you can achieve anything you want, good things we do surely are compensated by life with the time. Stay strong for this 2021!

I was diagnosed with psychotic disorder by a psychiatrist back when I was 12 years old (I'm 28 now) and yeah, I remember having all of these signs before the diagnosis. Especially the delusions and the disorganized thinking. I had to take anti-psychotic pills for almost all of my teen years (Risperidone, in this case) up until recently when I had to change it for Quetiapine, and thanks to my psychiatrist, I don't really need'em anymore.

Thank you Psych2Go for making a video just to cover this subject. I am a 16 year old who has suffered from major depression with psychotic features and have seen very little mainstream videos talking about this heavily stigmatized disorder. You’ve definitely made my day and I’m sure it’s the same for many others as well.

Could you do a video covering different types of hallucinations? I've heard there are hallucinations that make you feel things (like getting hit in the face or something). Also it might not count as hallucinations, but I've read about hallucinations where the people actually knew they weren't real while they were experiencing them

i love these videos that explore disorders, it could help people understand more about people who do have these, and even make some people realize that they could possibly have a disorder and encourage them to seek help

you should do a video on selective mutism or shutting down when becoming overwhelmed i’ve dealt with this a lot and i’m not to sure why i’ve been this way
