Same problem on iMac in that Option is greyed out after converting to Smart Object, but does work on my Mac Book Pro.

I loved this filter. One problem, The look I get witth say a portrait at 72 dpi can not be replicated )brush stroke etc) when applied exactly the same way to the same file but at 300 or 600 dpi. So I am limited to upresing a low dpi image to my desired printing size. It would be great if it would create the same effect, only higher resolution.
