2020 C8 Corvette Final Production Numbers & Stats! How Rare is Your C8?

The National Corvette Museum has released a full summary of the final production numbers for the 2020 C8 Corvette. This summary includes details on the popular colors and options for the 2020 model year. We've also received confirmation that the 2020 model year production will end on December 7th. This is great news for anyone waiting on their 2021 C8 Corvette to be built!

Even a year like 2020 could not stop the introduction of the mid engine Corvette, obstacles have been numerous but the influence of a 50+ year wait has brought it through!

50 on his 2021 orders coupe to convert
right now which surprised him. I guess more people are in your train of thought about the BENIFITS of the convertible.

Don't know about being rare but I have the Zeus Bronze and I get a lot of comments about how great it looks. Everyone ask what color it is and if it's a stock or custom color. I have the natural interior in 2LT trim w/Z51, MRC, Front Lift, GT2 seats, Engine Appearance package, black belts and after market VS Forged VS14 brushed titanium wheels. To me the ZBM is a classy color and it's subtlety makes it stand out among the bolder colors like red, yellow or blue. At my age of 63 we have a saying of 'less is more'.

The color selection was driven by Corvette construction constrains. The same reason the Convertible is so rare in 2020. First the Union, then Covid slowed and stopped production. We will be watching catchup for the next two production years right up to the intro of the Z06 with the “Novell Corvette 5.5 flat plane crank Engine”

I have one of the rarest of the most popular C8 Stingray renditions, a Elkhart Lake (Road America) Blue 2LT non Z51, Adrenaline Red interior with GT1 vented, heated, cooled, lumbar and bolster equipped seats. Constrained to the point that a C8 that should have been built this time last year didn’t show up until August 5th this year. It is a Great Car and was out the door for only $67, 885.00, 12 units or less

I am ordering a 2021 C8 in Zeus Bronze Metallic with Morello Red Dipped. Max optioned to include the Z51 package. It will be a rare option combinations.

Rapid blue with a full tan interior only 47 of them and we got one.

I believe my Rapid Blue C8 might be the only one out there with the torch red corvette script. Only 20 opted for that option and I am guessing they were on other colors.

I hv a question about the airbag On the side of the drivers seat, on a c7 now I need to remove it temporarily to fix the seat the cover of the competition seat is coming off right where the airbag is and I can’t get to it totally to get it back in, so I’m not sure how to take off the airbag safety any help would be great. Got a coupe in Zeus Bronze with 1LT, Black wheels and performance exhaust. I ordered a hi wing spoiler but we all know they were 86, glad it was because I like the look without one better. The hi wing looks like it should be on a rice burner. Black interior.

My C8 2020 Convertible Z51 3LT package is a Long Beach Red Metal tint( I opted out on the High Wing Spoiler just didn’t like the look )
The car has the 3LT Conv Premium Equipment Package
I was lucky enough to get the Total Carbon Fiber Ground Effects package Dealer installed at time of delivery Custom Splash guards
From what I have been told there I are no more options available that this car does not have with the exception of the previously mentioned High Wing Spoiler
