I always thought Rufus showing up w/ a sawed-off shotgun to throw down alongside his faithful hound was tight as hell. Makes him seem like the main character of his own game

Maybe we can get a DLC pack starring Rufus wherein u engage in all sorts of Shinra politicking, like humiliating Heidegger, banging Scarlet on the table in that boardroom that reeks of shit, and putting down Hojo's perverse creations

Rufus in my opinion after seeing him evolve in FF7 from total a clever d bag to an almost anti hero kind person by the end of FF7 up to Advent Children, I gained a lot of respect for the chracter. Definitely a favorite.

It'd be cool to see Rufus be more of a recurring character in the remake series. He could have been a foil and a rival to Cloud, but he was just kind of there doing his own thing in the background during the events of the original game.

Although this won't come into play until much later in the game, I'd like to see the start of Rufus Shinra's change of heart that we see in Advent Children and other installments. It's a pretty sharp turn, but I also think it's plausible. I just would like to know what convinced him to change his ways after he narrowly escaped death.

Depends how he is portrayed, Rufus could add that extra layer of depth the game needs. I feel like he didn't get fleshed out enough in the original. I hope now he gets more screen time and we see who he truly is. Rufus > Sephiroth

Rufus blaming Avalanche for killing his father was already done in FF7 machinabridged. It is the best explanation.
