Was Rey's Future After The Rise of Skywalker Just REVEALED?

One thing I wasn't expecting from the LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation special was some hints for the future of not just Rey, but also Finn, Poe, and Rose. What do they get up to after The Rise of Skywalker? Besides what we've seen in LEGO specials, that is. Here is what may have been revealed.

I agree with the timeskip forwad to see the new Jedi Order. Considering the timescales that the movies etc seem to cover could make establishing a genuine new order really difficult.

Going into Rise of Skywalker, I thought Rey would form a new order entirely separate from the Jedi. Keep the basics of the Jedi but expand on it in a way that learns from the dogmatic ways of the Jedi that lead to it's downfall. I really think she still could and name the new order the Skywalkers or something. I really hope her future is more than just a Luke 2.0 and somewhat what Cal was doing in Fallen Order. And they could have the force ghosts of the Skywalker family there to teach as well, for the new force users to be better than the Jedi were.

I really want to see what happens with Ezra and Cal, I think it might be possible that at least one of them started a school of their own, obviously depends on what happens in the next few shows but I'd absolutely love to see both survive for a lot longer.

I hope we see more of Finn being force sensitive and him even being a Jedi in the future in Star Wars Canon

I was not a fan of the sequels, but I do believe these characters have a lot of potential for the future. Finn especially, there’s so much he could do. Maybe he could finally have that stormtrooper uprising while sweeping up some First Order remnants.

I enjoy the sequels but The one thing that bummed me out was Finn not a Jedi, at least clearly. No hate to Rey or Daisy Ridley but I wished John Boyega didn’t get sidelined in episode 9 and gave him be a Jedi with Rey. Hoping he gets a book or series or something.

I hope we get a Disney Plus Show featuring Rey, People will hate me for this but if they did, it would probably be called Rey Skywalker, Where Finn is her Padawan or somthing like that

I'm still really not a fan of the whole "Jedi being completely destroyed and needing to be revived" thing being replayed over in the Sequels. We really should've seen that Luke trained an at least semi-successful order, rather than fail miserably and run off to hide. Still makes me sad to think about how they just kinda threw that potential out.

Force sensitive Finn is what so many of us have wanted since seeing the initial Force Awakens trailer where we see him holding the blue light saber. On the one hand, I'm grateful there's *some* degree of follow through on that (shoutout to the writers on the lego team for giving Finn the treatment he deserves), but I'm worried that this is going to be contained to just the lego spin-off. I'm not a sequel hater per say, but it's definitely the least interesting trilogy era, personally speaking. But I'll admit, I got really excited about the possibility of getting a timeskip with force sensitive Finn and fleshed out cast of characters. This seems like an easy win for Disney and Lucasfilm if they actually follow through with a live action (or animated) cannon story about this.

I was honestly hoping Finn by "finding others like him" was him finding other Stormtroopers willing to defect and to cause a Stormtrooper rebellion aka what should've actually happened in the Sequel Trilogy

I can't remember where it was to point directly to a source, but I'm about 90% certain they DID say "Rogue Squadron" was going to set after Ep9. I'll try to find the source and share it.

Sounds like that Rey and Finn have similar goals. Finding more force sensitives means more Jedi to rebuild the New Jedi Order, and finding more Jedi temples means that both Rey and Finn can learn more about the history of the Jedi. I think both of them (especially Finn) have a lot of growing to do when it comes to learning about what it means to be a Jedi and how to use the Force properly. It would also be great to see Rey and Finn form this Master and Padawan relationship, something that was sorely lacking in the sequel trilogy. They can pick up on each other’s mistakes and help each other grow. Rey and Finn finding more force sensitives together means that they can connect with people like themselves and Rey can learn how to be a better teacher, not just for Finn, but for a new Jedi Order.

Instead of training a new Jedi Order, she will train Jedi-like warriors, allowing them to open up with their feelings, allowing them to visit their families, allowing them to be themselves.

I think it is really weird that we did not see anything post ep9 until now... I mean, other than lego specials. But yes, those stories sound really cool, but they have one problem. They still make us feel that the sequels are just a remake of the OT. They should make it in a way that feel unique... and that the legacy of Han, Leia, Luke, Lando and others was not just to train the next generation...

There needs to be a Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy series with Rey and Finn as teachers teaching the next generation of Jedi while battling Dark Side Cults.
