Bulletproof backpacks using waterproof material that looks like a regular backpack and blends into any environment would be best in SHTF. You don’t want to look like a tactical commando and draw attention to yourself.

FYI: Maxpedition makes several different sized packs similar to the HAZARD 4 over-the-shoulder pack where you can swing it around access without taking it off.

I see a lot of backpacks now will Molle and pals webbing, the whole idea of gray man to me personally is fading out. Nike, North Face, Columbia, Adidas, Reebok and so many other brands of backpacks are beginning to look “tactical”.

I have the messenger bag. Its so good someone stole it.
