Grotto Falls Directions:


Grotto Falls is accessed via Trillium Gap Trailhead, located just outside of Gatlinburg. Leave Gatlinburg, onto Historic Nature Trail / Airport Road. Veer right onto Cherokee Orchard Road, which will take into Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Turning right onto the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail. The parking area for Grotto Falls will be on the left side of the road after driving roughly 1.6 miles along this one-way road. The trailhead is located just beyond the parking area on the opposite side of the road after Rainbow Falls.


Hen Wallow Falls Directions:


From downtown Gatlinburg, head East on 321 out of town. You will drive east on 321 for approximately 18.1 miles. 321/East Parkway will dead-end into Highway 32 – turn right towards Cosby. Continue on Highway 32 for 1.2 miles to the park entrance. Turn right into the park and continue 2 miles to the Gabes Mountain trailhead on right. You will want to park at the Cosby Picnic Area on the left-side of the street.


Ramsay Cascades Directions

:

From downtown Gatlinburg, take the Main Parkway to 321/East Parkway. Head east on on Route 321 and continue for approximately 6.0 miles (when you see a Hungry Bear BBQ on the left prepare to turn). Turn right (south) into the Greenbrier entrance into the National Park and follow the signs to the trailhead. It is located 4.7 miles into the park and is just after the ranger station.

Enjoyed! Grotto and Ramsey are two of our frequent Smoky's hikes; however, we are only now posting videos of our M&M Adventures. Abram's falls is another fun hike with swimming opportunities. Charlies Bunion, Gregory Bald, and Andrews Bald are some other great places to visit.

Great list. If you don't mind crowds, Ludlow Falls is a fun way to kill a Sunday morning.

Spruce Flatts Falls, Tremont rd. Park at the Great Smoky Mountain institute parking lot. Beautiful short 3/4 mile hike and our favorite Waterfall . Great flow even in times of little rain. Farther up on Tremont rd. is the prettiest and easiest waterfall hike in the Smokies, Middle Prong Trail. Lynn Camp Falls and many other smaller cascades on the beautiful Middle Prong Trail.
