Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited national park in the United States, and with good reason! The Great Smoky Mountains is an epic place for an adventure for everyone. In this video we take you on an adventure to the best easy adventures in the park. Every hike that we show is less than 5 miles and doesn't require difficult hiking to reach the destination. On top of that, the Smoky Mountains are home to some of the most beautiful drives in the Eastern United States. Time to have an adventure!

Our Itinerary:

Day 1 - #laurelfalls
This hike was an easy 2.3 miles roundtrip with a beautiful waterfall at the end!

Day 2 - #clingmansdome & #archrock & #alumcave
Climngman's Dome is an awesome 1 mile roundtrip hike that takes you to the roof of the National Park! Up 6,643 feet you'll have an incredible panorama view of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Arch Rock and Alum Cave is an awesome 4.6 mile roundtrip hike that starts with an easy creekside hike to Arch Rock. Arch Rock is a huge natural rock tunnel you can walk through! Alum Cave is a huge cavern in the rock with a wonderful overlook of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Day 3 - #jakescreek to #aventcabin
This trail starts with a walk through an old neighborhood! Pass through old stone chimneys where houses once stood. At the end of the hike you see a real life cabin! Avent Cabin is still standing, you can explore inside and outside this beautiful cabin deep in the Smoky Mountains.

Day 4 - #cadescove & #abramsfalls & #richmountaintrail
Cades Cove is an 11 mile loop drive that is an absolute MUST while visiting Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You can spot wildlife and enjoy the wonderful mountain views while taking this loop.

Abrams Falls is a hike whose trailhead is on Cades Cove. This 5 mile hike takes you to a ridiculously awesome waterfall, one of the best destinations in the entire park.

Rich Mountain Trail is an 11 mile dirt road that is only open in the Summer. The road starts near Cades Cove and takes you on a winding loop through the forest!

I've been going here all my life since 73, started camping in cades cove but now we rent cabins.
I'm planning on taking the family the week after Thanksgiving for the fall colors.

my family and I lived in Asheville, NC for years, and loved it. not complaining, though, because we live in Murfreesboro, TN now, and have access to lots of great places to go (Chattanooga, Pigeon Forge, Nashville). thanks for this great video.

Avent Cabin is a bit tough to get to if you aren't prepared to walk on the narrow bridge and up a steep embankment but is worth it. It is not marked but is on the right hand side of the Jake's Creek trail
