Hey guys, in this video I am going to explain how to setup a MySQL database in nodeJs with express. We are going to be using the MySQLWorkbench as a visualization tool to view our database and even get some routes working so you guys can see how to INSERT and SELECT data from the database.

Great video, I use Mongodb, but I felt it wouldn't hurt to learn MySQL

Also in 13:00 you can't make it an "app.post" because the default method in browsers is "get" requests

I have a question I was trying to test the connection to the local host earlier and for some reason console.log was not printing me anything . I didn't think anything of it till I couldn't connect to my local host server. I pretty sure I downloaded everything but the console.log still doesnt print anything in the terminal so I don't know whats happening and I tried to insert into mytable and it doesnt do it
