question re putting the full oil pan in the fridge., until ready for the next use. Is this ok; the manual says it depends on the model but no where does it say which model you can put in the fridge.

after some time, the plastic oil container has begun to warp. Directly below where the oil pours in.
(I let it wait overnight to cool, this is not happening when filtering).

There is a little bar bent down on both sides to act as a bit of a heat sink? right below that is where the plastic is slowly warping down.
At the moment, it's 2 months old and is still functional. But I suspect I'm half way through it's life expectancy at this rate.

Hey thanks for the video. When you're frying the food does the meat touch the bottom where the sediment and particles settle? I have a fry daddy but the problem is all the particles at the bottom get on my food

What type of oil would you recommend using?

The oil reservoir box lid doesn't seal very well. Which makes it very hard to take it out without having oil all over the place. And basically impossible to pour back into the stainless steel cooking container without spillage

just bought one of these and the oil drain does not work...after reasearching it seems to be a very common issue

Will it turn on without any oil in it?

A little cheaper nowadays and also some friendly, constructive criticism, there are a lot of "kitchen gadget review" channels on this platform. A little less formality and maybe some goofs and gaffs sprinkled around would keep people coming back. Information is why people will come and personality is why people will stay. Ya, dig? Doesn't it have a sensor that will only let it drain when the oil is cooled?
