Out of curiosity, why are you using 'Software Encoding' instead of the more efficient 'Hardware Encoding', assuming that you have a fast GPU/CPU?

It's my first time shooting and exporting 4K video. My almost 12-minutes video will be 8, 6GB big. I thiiiink that doesn't surprise me but however: is that normal? 😱😂
I'm very curious how long it will take my poor laptop to export that and also whether 4K will be worth the hassle in the future...

question. Why use software instead of hardware? When I point my mouse to it it says hardware encoding with NVIDIA will be faster than software. Thoughts?
