I’ve known how to do this for 10+ years, but this dude is such a good teacher, I still watched the whole damn thing and learned something new.

Thanks, as always, for this tutorial. One thing I may add in favor of the Media Encoder: you can actually encode several versions of the same video with different settings (for example, for YouTube, Facebook, etc.). Once the project is in the Media Encoder queue, duplicate it and change the preset of the duplicate. That's a bit of a niche trick, but it may help.

YT also has a standardized volume or decibel as well. If you right click on any video and click stats for nerds, you can see the DB level your video is at as opposed to the YT standard volume. For example, this video is 10.1 decibels below 0. It's basing this off of the standard windows and MacOS volumes that people set their volumes to. So if your headphones are set at 50% volume on your OS, your video will be 10.1 decibels below that 50% volume level. In Adobe PP, the best export settings to get within .01 decibels is under effects, and loudness normalization. Change to ITS BU.1770-3. Target loudness ''-14'' Tolerance "0" Max true peak ''-1''
This will keep all your audio balances the same, while bringing the audio levels to optimized volume levels so when people click on your video, your video is obnoxiously loud or quiet compared to other vids.

Thank you so much for this very helpful video. I am going to try the 4K settings even though I shoot in 1080. Very easy to follow along with you. 🌸🌺😊

Thanks for the video, As someone who edit for another Youtuber and have a slow internet connection, Uploading big files would take forever, so what I do is export at Maximum Adaptive setting (The Default one) then use Handbrake to encode it, sometimes it turns 2GB video into 200mb with no difference at all, which is so good for me 😅

05:21 Which is better for video quality (Hardware encoding with "VBR, 1 pass" and less render time) or (Software encoding with "VBR, 2 pass" and more render time), Please can you explain it in more detail in another video with an example ? Thank you.

Hi
Thanks for what you do. One question. Are there different settings for youtube shorts? Do you have a different video for that?

Question: What if I shot mixed sequences in 60 and 24 and bring them down to a timeline that is 24 frames, can I still export in 24?

Hi Javier, I'd like to know your insight on non-YouTube uploads, such as a wedding film or small event exports. I have a 1hr10min video shot at 4K @200 4:2:2 10bit on a7S III I followed this video except for Bit rate 2 Pass VBR @ 24Mbps target. This gave me an 11gb file. Does this sound suitable for client delivery? I know a lower bitrate also will be plenty
